Daniel Rewarded By His Former Teacher

At Sutton Coldfield’s July Circle meeting there was a surprise presentation to Brother Daniel Hurd who received his 25 year membership certificate from Brother Provincial Director John Minister. Nothing unusual for our Provincial Director awarding membership certificates but for Brother Daniel it was a case of his former teacher awarding his former pupil. Brother John was Deputy Head of Bishop Walsh School Sutton Coldfield when Brother Daniel was a pupil at the school. Fortunately for Brother Daniel the presentation was not accompanied by a lengthy school report.
