Brothers and ladies of Kenilworth Circle were treated to excellent taster of bowling at The Highway Bowls club in Coventry on 8 August. The weather was perfect for a very enjoyable evening of bowls which started with some basic tuition from the club members which included Brother Danny and Marie McAree and then we played 5 or 6 ends of bowling and finished with a competition where everyone was involved. The spider competition was won by Hazel Prescott who won a bottle of whisky! We then retired to the Old Coventrian’s Rugby clubhouse for some drinks and cold buffet.
